  • Shared Van Moose modulation core (vmmod) — one LFO, swept allpass element
  • Four STAGGERED allpass stages — non-uniform centres (280 Hz → 3.3 kHz), low stages sweep 5×, top barely 2.4×
  • Photocell throb — the LFO sine reshaped by an asymmetric lamp/cell lag, then squared into a lopsided pulse
  • No feedback path — the throb does the talking, not resonant notches
  • Mode morphs Chorus (dry+wet swirl) → Vibrato (wet-only pitch wobble)

Requirements

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • Apple Silicon (arm64) — Intel / Windows coming later
  • ✅ Standalone app (VIBE.app) — A minor chord test tone
  • ✅ AU (Audio Unit v3) — GarageBand, Logic Pro, REAPER, Ableton Live

Install

  • AU → ~/Applications (open VIBE.app once to register)
