  • Classic analog divider topology: comparator → T flip-flop squares at −1 and −2 octaves
  • The divider inherently tracks the input pitch — monophonic by design (chords go gloriously erratic, like the originals)
  • Subs gated by an envelope follower — they breathe with the input and die in silence
  • Octave UP via full-wave rectification, DC-blocked and band-limited
  • Tone smooths the generated octaves (250 Hz → 4 kHz)

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • Apple Silicon (arm64) — Intel / Windows coming later
  • ✅ Standalone app (JUMP.app) — bassline test tone
  • ✅ AU (Audio Unit v3) — GarageBand, Logic Pro, REAPER, Ableton Live

Install

  • AU → ~/Applications (open JUMP.app once to register)
