  • Shared Van Moose modulation core (vmmod) — vm_sweep LFO drives the resonant cutoff
  • Mode knob blends two wah brains: auto-wah (LFO) ↔ envelope-wah (the input quacks itself)
  • Rate doubles as LFO speed (mode A) and envelope sensitivity (mode B)
  • Cutoff travels 350 Hz → ~2.8 kHz; Reso sets the peak (Q 1 → 15)
  • Resonant lowpass per channel, linked cutoff

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • Apple Silicon (arm64) — Intel / Windows coming later
  • ✅ Standalone app (CRY.app) — A minor chord test tone
  • ✅ AU (Audio Unit v3) — GarageBand, Logic Pro, REAPER, Ableton Live

Install

  • AU → ~/Applications (open CRY.app once to register)
