  • Adds a deep, tuned sine sub to your low end — the sub-harmonic weight under a kick or bass
  • Monophonic tracker (zero-cross divider, JUMP-style): single-note bass/kick locks tight; chords confuse it by design
  • Sub: clean sine an octave below the tracked fundamental, breathing with an envelope follower
  • Tune: tracked octave-down ↔ a fixed tuned note · Decay: the sub-drum tail length
  • Onset pitch-blip + soft-clipped sine for a controlled sub; bit-exact dry at Mix 0 or Sub 0

Requirements

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • Apple Silicon (arm64) — Intel / Windows coming later
  • ✅ Standalone app (BOOM.app) — bass test tone
  • ✅ AU (Audio Unit v3) — GarageBand, Logic Pro, REAPER, Ableton Live

Install

  • AU → ~/Applications (open BOOM.app once to register)
