The simplest tone control — one knob seesaws the whole spectrum around a pivot
TILT (bipolar): left = darker (low boost / high cut), right = brighter (low cut / high boost), gentle ±9 dB at the extremes
PIVOT sets the see-saw axis — 200 Hz → 4 kHz, ~1 kHz at centre
Broadband 1st-order shelves, no resonance — a gentle seesaw, not a DJ sweep
Centre-detent TILT (and MIX 0) is bit-exact dry — no shelf-coefficient round-off
