v1.0.0-beta — What's new ▾
  • Upward compression — raises low-level detail (ambience, sustain, room) toward a floor while leaving peaks untouched
  • LIFT: boost ceiling (0 → +18 dB) for how far the quiet stuff comes up
  • FLOOR: threshold (-60 → -12 dB); signal below it is lifted with a gentle 2:1 ratio, signal above it is left alone
  • TONE: gentle ±6 dB tilt to keep the lifted detail clear, not muddy
  • Musical 10 ms / 200 ms envelope avoids pumping; mono-sum gain keeps the stereo image centred
  • Honest: upward compression also raises the inherent noise / room floor — that is physics, not a bug
  • Bit-exact dry at LIFT 0 or MIX 0

Requirements

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • Apple Silicon (arm64) — Intel / Windows coming later
  • ✅ Standalone app (LIFT.app) — A minor chord test tone
  • ✅ AU (Audio Unit v3) — GarageBand, Logic Pro, REAPER, Ableton Live
