v1.1.0-beta — What's new ▾
  • Standalone, AU and VST3 now all show the same interface you see on this page — dark-oxblood panel, Drive/Tone/Tight/Mix, DRY|BLOOD compare
  • Correct Tone display in your DAW: −1 to +1, centred at 0 (the previous VST3 showed 0 to 1 with generic controls)
  • Reliable latency reporting: 32 samples (4× oversampling) declared from instantiation in all formats — the previous VST3 reported 0 until playback started
  • Chord and Drums demo sounds built in — audition BLOOD without loading a track; PLAY is automatable and saves with your session
  • Universal build — Apple Silicon and Intel
  • Note: sessions saved with 1.0.0-beta reopen with BLOOD at default settings

Requirements

  • macOS 13 Ventura or later
  • Apple Silicon + Intel (universal) — Windows coming later
  • ✅ Standalone app (BLOOD.app) — full interface, Chord / Drums demo sounds
  • ✅ AU (Audio Unit v3) — GarageBand, Logic Pro, REAPER, Ableton Live
  • ✅ VST3 — Cubase, Studio One, Bitwig, REAPER

Install

  • AU → /Applications (open BLOOD.app once to register)
  • VST3 → ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
